The Sani Bheri Hydropower Project (SBHP) is a run-of-the-river (RoR) hydropower project located in Rukum District, in the western region of Nepal. With a generation capacity of 44.52 MW, this project harnesses the power of the Sani Bheri River, a major tributary of the Bheri
River basin, contributing to Nepal’s renewable energy development and grid stability.
Located in Rukum East District, within the Sisne and Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipalities, the Sani Bheri Hydropower Project is a 44.52 MW run-of-the-river hydroelectric initiative contributing to Nepal’s clean energy transition.
